When you order

Checkout runs on Stripe's page. You give Stripe your name, email, shipping address and card. I never see or store your card number.

Stripe passes me your name, email, shipping address, what you bought and what you paid. I keep that with your order so I can make it, ship it and answer questions later.

You get an order email, and another when it ships. No newsletter and no marketing email.

In your browser

Your cart and the ZIP you enter for a shipping quote are saved in your browser's storage on your device, so they're still there when you come back. This site doesn't set cookies. Stripe's checkout page sets its own.

When you hit Check out, the server keeps a copy of your cart for up to 3 days so it can match your payment to your order.

There are no ads, no analytics and no tracking scripts here.

Custom work requests

The custom work form sends me your name, email, what you wrote and any files you attach. Files are stored privately and deleted automatically after 90 days. I use them to quote and make your print, nothing else.

Email

Mail sent to an address at nyxthecelestial.com is stored and forwarded to my Gmail inbox.

Who else handles your info

I don't sell your information or share it for advertising. These companies touch it because the shop can't run without them:

• Stripe takes the payment, checks for fraud and works out sales tax. Here's Stripe's privacy policy.
• Shippo gets your ZIP to quote postage.
• USPS and the service I print labels with get your name and address so the box can reach you.
• Amazon Web Services hosts this site, the order records and the shop's email.
• Google runs my inbox, and the fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, so Google sees your browser ask for them.

How long I keep it

• Order records: kept for my tax records and so I can help with an old order.
• Custom requests: the files are deleted after 90 days. The request itself stays with my records.
• Carts that never checked out: 3 days.
• Server logs: up to 3 months. They hold errors, order numbers and email delivery records, not card details.

Want to see, fix or delete what I have on you? Email hello@nyxthecelestial.com. I'll delete whatever I'm not required to keep.

Kids

This shop isn't meant for kids under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

Other sites

Links to Etsy, Instagram, Mercari and other sites take you to places with their own privacy rules.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
